SMMOA reveals "Incognito" artists for 2011

600 artworks sold in one terrific evening - this is certainly the party of the season!

Artist's identity is revealed only after the piece is paid for, each artwork sells for $300.

Proceeds go to the museum programs.

The Santa Monica Museum of Art held their yearly "Incognito" art sale. I was happy to be invited. The food was elaborate, the place was packed and my piece sold in the first 1/2 hour. An excellent evening!

I spent over a year working on a book project with a great woman, Joy Harjo. I sat in my studio as she traveled the world. We collaborated on the images for this beautiful book Joy wrote by phone, email and sometimes through dreams. I'm proud of the result, due out on October 1, 2009. Please take a look.
