Beautiful work, Mercedes. Once again I find myself in an awkward position: I just wrote a moderately long appreciation of your fresco of Alexandra, analyzing the composition, Jungian archetypes and themed opposites in the picture (grey/white, nature/human, past/present, matter/spirit, grey-white/color). I wanted to see a detail in the flowers when I was wrapping up the comment, clicked on the image to make it larger and: my essay disappeared. If I find it I'll post it. (Next time I'll remember not to click on anything else before posting my comment.) I really like it, and you've enlarged my appreciation of the contemporary possibilities for fresco painting. (I'm just sorry I lost my essay!)
